ABOUT
Shev Lunatic (born Yevgeniya Shevchuk) was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1995. At the age of three, she relocated to Western Europe, splitting her time between Southern France and Düsseldorf, Germany, before settling in the latter. After studying design at the Institute of Design in Düsseldorf, Shev launched her artistic career, where her passion for urban art, fine art, technology, and tattooing earned her international recognition.
She is currently travelling through North America, dividing her time between New York and Austin, Texas.
Shev Lunatic is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist at the intersection of urban and fine art, technology and high fashion, blending these forms with a distinctly futuristic, surrealist flair. She operates within the avant-garde, pushing boundaries through her use of AI, robotics, and digital art, while staying grounded in the traditions of classical art and surrealism. Her work also delves into deeper themes, exploring the complexity of human emotions.
Shev could be categorized in post-digital contemporary art, where technology and art converge, often with a focus on luxury, high-end aesthetics, and cutting-edge technological tools.
Shev Lunatic is represented in Paris, London, Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Monaco and has exhibited her work in select cities to industry acclaim. Her urban art can be admired in places like New York, Paris, Nice & Düsseldorf.
In addition to her fine art career, Shev has collaborated with prominent B2B clients such as The Michelin Guide Germany (The Fork), the British Army (26th Regiment Royal Artillery), Tommy Hilfiger, Red Bull, TCL, and Vodafone. A standout moment in her career was her live portrayal of Elon Musk for Vodafone at the 2020 Axel Springer Awards in Berlin, using Franka Robotics’ 5G robot arm.
